Mission
What We're About
There is very little space in left and green politics for the exchange of ideas and information and the building of campaigns that reach out and bring enough people together to achieve real change, either to political organisations, large and small, or in other democratic action.

But the need to improve this situation is almost desperately urgent.
In less than 15 months from now there will be Senedd Elections that are in real danger of enabling Farage and his Reform Party a real base, particularly in the de-industrialised areas of South and North East Wales.

Climate Change
And the chances of making a serious challenge to climate change, biodiversity, and the systematic destruction of our natural environment will have become even more difficult to achieve.

Genocide in Gaza
There is rage and despair concerning the genocide in the Middle East and the inability at any level of our elected bodies to take the small but significant steps that they could and should.

Public Services
There is a continuing crisis in most of our public services—the NHS, schools, and numerous other things that exacerbate poverty and hopelessness in our most deprived areas.
For those who were, or still are, in the largest party that has led the Welsh Government ever since devolution began (the Labour Party), there is a mood of decline, introspection, and despair. We have now had several months of a Labour government in London reneging on nearly everything it promised when in opposition, and far too many of its Wales Senedd members and MPs acting as apologists, rather than challenging these betrayals.
But within and without the more ossified of the old structures there is still a massive longing for fundamental change.
We hope this on-line publication will play a meaningful role in turning the tide
